Arizona Adult Education Services provides comprehensive literacy services to learners 16 years of age and older who are not enrolled in a K-12 school. Rio Salado College has been offering adult education classes since 1978 and is the largest provider in Arizona. Rio Salado College provides programming to help nontraditional students gain basic skills and literacy with a bridge to college and career. Students can learn the English language, prepare for GED® tests, get workforce preparation and employment skills training, take industry-specific workforce training classes, and get help transitioning to college.
